Climate-neutral packaging

Climate change is the biggest challenge of the 21st century. We do all we can to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible. At our Fresh Factory, for instance, we take lots of measures, big and small, to achieve sustainability (e.g. photovoltaics plant, energy efficient conveyor system, etc.). However, as a manufacturer, we have to face the fact that not all greenhouse gas emissions can be avoided. That is the case, for example, with regard to the manufacturing of our packaging material. In order to offset these CO₂ emissions, it is possible to buy recognised certificates from climate protection projects, thus neutralising our emissions.

Supporting climate protection projects

In conjunction with ClimatePartner, we support offsetting projects in Kenya and Uganda which are certified to the highest Gold standard, and are devoted to forest conservation.

The CO2 emissions from manufacturing the RINGANA Drinks cartons are offset. The projects supported by RINGANA focus on forest conservation.
